Absenteeism may adversely effect coworkers as well as operations of the organization. Absenteeism may create understaffing that threatens patient care or overstaffing that inflates the payroll.<br>\r\n<br>\r\n<h2>PROCEDURE<\/h2><br>\r\n1.\tWork hours will be established within the specific guidelines of each position and\/or patient needs.<br>\r\n2.\tStaff will be expected to notify their supervisor of changes in their schedule, which include, but are not limited to, cancellation or absenteeism.<br>\r\n3.\tIf staff are sick or unable to report to the assignment, the Clinical Supervisor must be notified so that arrangements can be made for coverage in their absence. Notification should occur three (3) hours before the beginning of the work day or earlier, if possible, so service can continue without interruption.<br>\r\n4.\tAbsenteeism without notification (no call\/no show) will be considered as voluntary resignation.<br>\r\n5.\tInconsistent attendance and excessive tardiness may lead to disciplinary action including termination.<br>\r\n6.\tAbsenteeism will be monitored by supervisors as follows:<br>\r\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; A.\tFriday or Monday absences or any absences that follow a pattern<br>\r\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; B.\tWeekend absences during which work is scheduled<br>\r\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; C.\tDays preceding or following holidays<br>\r\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; D.\tNot calling in on the day of absence<br>\r\n&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; E.\tExcessive use of sick leave benefit<br>\r\n7.\tStaff will be counseled against possible abuse. However, if the above patterns continue, a warning notice will be given; after two (2) such notices, the individual will be discharged from TRI-FLEXSI HOME HEALTH CARE.<\/div><\/div><div id=\"wpforms-268-field_10-container\" class=\"wpforms-field wpforms-field-html\" data-field-id=\"10\"><div id=\"wpforms-268-field_10\">Enter your name and email address.
